Crazy N Sane at Sundance 2010 Festival

Sundance Film Fesitval 2010 of course was Crazy....And.....Come on don't say it....sorry...Insane! G2G invited us along to do some promo for them as well do some handling. It started off real hectic of course as all "celebrity" status do, but it was a really good luck for the whole group.
After G2G
had a very "eventful" Sundance 2010 film Festival opening night, we bust on the scene friday with the tour bus. There we rode through Main Street in order to get everybody a glimpse at what Crazy N Sane does. The bus then dropped off the whole crew and we stopped into Downstairs Night Club in Park City owned by "Hyde" from "That 70's Show (Think His name is Daniel Matheson). After a very crowded spot there we headed over to Ground zero of 2010 Sundance Film Festival. The World Famous Harrios and partied the rest of the night. Glad we had a DD in the Tour Bus Driver.
Saturday was another Crazy Insane Day and definately the most fullest. From when we woke up we went into some of the Sundance Film Festival 2010 Gift Lounges. Not much to report other than the commercial generosity downlow companies like Badcock Clothing, Gem Jewlers, and even the un-announced pop of the Lambourgini Apparrel that is mysteriously starting work into urban culture. However the one that stole the show, at least to us, was the Poke guys. This is a new social media medium that is for people that like to meet other people one on one. You actually have a device around your neck that can actually press against other people and you are now friends. No more friend request to people you will never talk to again. But not the extravant of uncomfortable small talk. Perfect Innovative as heck to the social media platform. So innovative that its unfortunate microsoft will have one just like it soon. Darn you microsoft!
The following day was probably the most beneficial for all at the Sundance 2010 Film Festival. G2G was invited to play in the celebrity poker tournament broadcasted by ESPN. Casino.com sponsored them. Fred Mo was the clear cut winner, but in a last play of celeb generosity, gave all his chips up to one of the ladies that were there. More namely Tracee Ellis Ross, Star of the Hit BET show "Girlfriends" and also Daughter of Singer legend Diana Ross. Fred Mo nicknamed in the Tournament, The Bully, Dropped all his chips to her and one other Celebrity then walked out the tourney. G2G on ESPN, Man now it has to be said. Crazy and Insane. Casino.com invited G2G to participate again the second day of Tourney the next day with the same results. G2G the Gamblers? At the Sundance Film Festival? Confusing, ain't it?
One of the biggest highlights for G2G and Crazy N Sane at the Sundance 2010 Festival was definately a the performance from G2G

at the Crown Lounge. A sponsored event by Crown Royal. G2G played a short set with a band playing the instrumentals that ripped the stage up. They made the 'Club Jump'. Yeah Shameless plug there but whatever.
Sundance 2010 Festival wrapped up with a performance at The world Famous Harrios by G2G the day before closing ceremonies. It was good day for us too because that was the day we signed Ex-No limit recording artist Mr. Serv-On. Mr. Serv-On now being represented by Crazy N Sane is the ultimately the perfect end to a debut at Sundance. Sundance Film Festival 2010 was the first and lets hope many more to come.

Crazy Insane Music, for a Crazy n Sane Music World

There is music out there that has a Crazy Sound and gives you a bewildering feeling when it comes on. You know the one at the club or at the rave that plays and you just start moving your body. When that song comes on it really makes you feel like a crack head, or alcoholic. It gives you a great feeling in the moment but you really feel shamed and cheap afterwards. Thats when it gets Crazy and insane music!
If you hear a song that jumps on the radio saying "a little Monica in my life, a little bit of Erica by my side.....", and you turn it up. Thats a music action that is Both Crazy and Insane
If you find yourself snapping to ANY song by Sugar Ray, and you actually deem that music you can hear more than once, thats a music concept that is both Crazy and Insane.
Do you ever wonder in todays time how one hit wonders are not as common as one album wonders? How do you have a 4 times platinum album and people almost never hear you on your second or third album. Ahem, dru hill, monica, that one self indulgent cat with the dreads. Crazy and Insane Music concepts
Who ever thought Child artists would start taking over the industry like they have. This is the same industry that use to shon away from child stars if it killed them. C'mon now, we are all feeling that Cyrus joint. Whats it called again? "Hands down Playing my song..." Something like that. It seems like as times go by the music gets better.
When you can actually listen to a Little john song and not want to just throw something or smack someone or just do something very violent......Well then we just dont know what to say then cause your silly. Even the CEO throws his caviar at the wall and kicks his dog right in the face when his songs comes on. YEAHHH, its Crazy. Wait for it.....wait for it...... and insane music concept.
Some other Crazy Insane music Facts: Vinyl sales have increased by almost 100% 2009. The industry itself goes quite nuts when they look at their "Losses". By no means is $4Billion a small loss. However, if we're still earning $10Billion, don't think that we have lost alot in comparison. You know what really is a Crazy Insane Music concept. That Picture over there Lady Gaga by the way. Mariah Carey may be relishing in the rave reviews and Oscar buzz surrounding her new drama “Precious”, however her 2001 film disaster “Glitter” still brings some painful memories to the surface.

The film (and Carey’s performance on screen and on the soundtrack) was slammed by almost all critics and labeled as one of the worst of all-time, eventually prompting the pop princess to be hospitalized amid an emotional breakdown.

However Carey isn’t accepting full responsibility for the “Glitter” gaffe.

“Being here is definitely a milestone. But I had one milestone that almost had me under this stone,” Carey told us as the AFI screening of "Precious" on Sunday night. “I didn’t realize you really have to be selective with the people that you work with and you have to have that support system and you have to work with people that you feel are geniuses.”

Speaking of genius, Carey’s physical transformation into a run-of-the-mill, unglamorous New York social worker for the flick is quite a work of art in itself. And coming from a pop diva who imposes a monstrous set of rules when it comes to filming her (on one recent occasion where Pop Tarts was present, Carey refused to be shot from the waist-down and had her own Director of Photography on-hand to ensure the lighting and frame size were exactly as she wanted), this was quite a personal challenge.

“When it first saw the film I thought I looked hideous, I felt completely rancid. I’ve kind of gotten over it… Have I gotten over it?” she motioned to hubby Nick Cannon, who was quick to disagree.

“Not really,” he laughed, shaking his head. “But the performance was phenomenal. I love her in every look. It’s Mariah!”

And hey, at least Ms Carey was bold enough to admit she needed a break from fame and glamour and come back down to earth and look a little “ordinary”.

“This was such a liberating experience and yet humiliating. But I needed that,” Carey added. “We all need that, we need to understand how to be humble and it’s a difficult business to do that in. But I’m definitely inspired to work out of my comfort zone after this.”

We are just curious to ask all who are the hot artists? Compare it to the artist that are "Ho hum" but may have a killer marketing team that know how to push them. Somebody Like Grace Jones Compared to Toni Braxton. Sorry but Grace Jones's "Xena" lookin ass don't seem like the type that should be selling. Then you have a more sultry deep throat artists like Toni Braxton, who probably sold more albums, but career was as short lived as Grace.
